New federal tax law can help WPC protect water, land and life

The recent Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 extended the IRA Charitable Rollover to allow individuals aged 70 ½ or older to donate tax-free gifts of up to $100,000 from their IRA accounts directly to qualified charities such as the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. <full story
