Barn at Fallingwater Wins 2005 American Architecture Award
From Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design

On July 15, 2005, The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design announced The Barn at Fallingwater as a recipient of “The American Architecture Awards"— an Exhibition and Distinguished Buildings Awards Program for 2005.

A jury of Norwegian architects representing the Norske Arkiteker Landsforbund (The National Association of Norweigian Architects) in Oslo selected thirty-three projects from a field of hundreds of submissions.

The American Architecture Awards attempts to give an important overview of the current direction of today's commercial, corporate, institutional, and residential work in the United States to the real estate, banking, business, and corporate community, as well as to the press and general public.

The American Architecture Exhibition and Distinguished Building Awards Program is dedicated to the recognition of excellence in architecture in the United States.
