Own a Piece of the
Fallingwater Legacy
You can enjoy a piece of the natural beauty of Fallingwater’s landscape in your own home through the creative recycling of a noble oak tree that for years graced the landscape between the main house and the guesthouse. This tree continues to “live” in The Fallingwater Oak Series, a collection of beautiful wooden bowls crafted from the substantial trunk and branches of the tree, now available for a limited time at the Fallingwater Museum Shop.
The tree has held a prestigious position in Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterwork, residing inside the curved canopy walkway that connects Fallingwater to its guest house. Over time it became apparent that the bottom portion of the tree was hollow, and there was serious concern that the deterioration of the oak’s trunk presented a danger to visitors and to Fallingwater.
The limited series is available exclusively at the Fallingwater Museum Shop with prices starting at $65. Every bowl is signed, numbered and offers its own unique qualities. Visit www.wpcshop.com or call 724-329-1441, ext. 1403 for more information on the Fallingwater Oak Series.
