Leaf Color Range

This species of linden is easily recognized by the small size of its leaves and flowers which spread irregularly and do not last long. It is an excellent shade tree for lawns, large areas, streets, planters, malls or just about any place that a good tree is required.

Height: 60’-70’ with a high, narrow, very “twiggy” crown.
Leaves: 1-1/2”-3” long, almost as wide. Smooth and somewhat lustrous green above and beneath, turning to yellow or soft yellow in autumn.
Habitat: While it is a tree native to Europe, this tree has been planted as a shade tree almost anywhere since ancient times.
