Stewardship Workday
June 22

WPC will hold the next stewardship workday in Erie county near West Branch French Creek and Lake Pleasant. The group will divide into teams to check/make boundary markings, check tree survival, and install a large bat box.

Staff will meet volunteers at 9 a.m. in the West Branch French Creek parking area along Rt. 8, just north of Lowville. Staff intends to work until 3 p.m., but any amount of help is appreciated. Please wear appropriate clothing, and bring a lunch and water.

Directions: Take I-79N to Erie, I-90E. Follow I-90E to the exit for Rt. 8 (Exit 29). Turn right off the exit, and follow Rt. 8 south for about 8 miles. The parking area is on the left. If you get to Lowville, you’ve gone too far. This map has been provided to help navigate the area: http://y.ahoo.it/UPzMUbRr
