Listed below is the Spring 2009 Volunteer Planting & Mulching Schedule.

TreeVitalize Pittsburgh will be working with over 20 community partners to plant more than 1250 trees this spring. You can help make Pittsburgh greener by registering for planting dates.

Dates and locations for the spring 2009 planting season are posted below. To register online, click the name of the neighborhood that you'd like to help with, or call 412.586.2396.

Arrive ready to work: Wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and dress in layers for the weather. All plantings are rain or shine. Bring a water bottle if you like. Tools will be provided by TreeVitalize Pittsburgh.

Don't see your neighborhood listed, but know you are receiving TreeVitalize Trees? Some communities are having their street trees planted by contractors. These trees will still need care, but will not need volunteers to help put them in the ground. If you have further questions about this, contact Marijke Hecht at mhecht@paconserve.org.
