TreeVitalize Planting Dates

TreeVitalize Pittsburgh will be working with 14 community partners to plant more than 700 trees this fall. You can help make Pittsburgh greener by signing up to volunteer on planting days.

Dates and locations for the fall 2009 planting season are posted below.

Arrive ready to work: Wear long pants, closed-toed shoes, and dress in layers for the weather. All plantings are rain or shine. Bring a water bottle if you’d like. Tools will be provided by TreeVitalize Pittsburgh.

If you don't see your neighborhood listed, but know you are receiving TreeVitalize Trees, it is likely that your community’s street trees will be planted by contactors. In these instances, volunteers are not needed to plant trees – but we are seeking volunteers for the trees’ ongoing care.

To register to plant trees or to learn about becoming a Tree Tender in your area, contact Michelle at 412-586-2321.
