The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy has pledged its resources to oversee appropriate stewardship of the places that enrich all our lives. To do this effectively, we need the leadership commitment of those who will join our Heritage Circle.

Charitable lead trust gifts can provide you with the satisfaction of giving a cash donation to WPC and seeing the benefits of the gift during your lifetime. You can contribute an initial partial interest in cash or stocks to WPC for a fixed number of years, after which the remainder interest either reverts to you or passes to one or more non-charitable beneficiaries selected by you.

The primary benefit to you from a charitable lead trust is that it allows property to be transferred to the eventual beneficiaries at a reduced tax cost.
